RefurBIM Workshop

By Business Solutions Centres
schedule23rd Jun 17

Have you been involved in building refurbishment projects that have used BIM?  Did this throw up any issues or problems? Or do you have experience of good practice?

This workshop will provide a forum for discussing the essential aspects of building refurbishment from planning to owner occupation with a view to developing conceptual Building Information Modelling models that can address those issues and embed good practice.

Date: Friday 30 June 2017

Time: 9.30am - 2.30pm

Venue: Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre

Cost: FREE

The workshop encourages the active participation of architects, clients, consultants (cost, structural, services etc) and contractors involved in building alterations and refurbishments. The focus will be on non-domestic projects, but anyone involved in refurbishment projects is welcome to attend.

The university is keen to develop research around this theme – so please bring experiences with you and contribute to the workshop, and to the future of research within the Built Environment sector.

Live case studies from local builds undertaken with local companies will be demonstrated and discussed.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
