The newly established Environmental Technologies and Resource Efficiency Support Service (EnTRESS) provides business support on environmental technologies and resource efficiency to Black Country SMEs.
Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EnTRESS supports for the adoption of technologies and processes for the reuse, recycling and recovery of materials and resources.
This University of Wolverhampton managed project offers fully funded support delivered by an experienced team of Knowledge Transfer Managers. EnTRESS has recently worked with West Bromwich based Bromford Iron and Steel, starting with an on-site resource efficiency survey; this has led to identifying a number of opportunities for process improvement which the team are currently working on.

The projects first workshop event takes place on the 18th October at the Universitys City Campus Wulfruna. Entitled Natures biodegradable polymers. Made by people for people the session delivered by Dr Iza Radecka & Professor Marek Kowalczuk of the Universitys Biopolymer Research Group. Places at this workshop can be booked here
